Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a home burglary in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports between March 23-28, someone broke into an apartment on Glenbrook Dr. and stole the following items: a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma TV, a Sony Playstation 3 Blu Ray player, and Playstation games.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Burglaries

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in two robberies in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports on the night of April 13 between 8-10:45 p.m., there were two street robberies in the 300 block of Elmwood Ave.

In one robbery, the victim states he was approached by two suspects who asked him for a dollar and then assaulted him and stole his cash. Both suspects are described as black males, 20-30 years old, six-feet tall, and 150-200 pounds.

In the other robbery, the victim states he was jumped by four or five guys who stole his cash.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports on March 29, someone stole 50 brass/bronze flower vases from gravestones with a total value of $13,700.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of a large amount of cash from a Newark home. Newark Police report the crime occurred sometime between Jan. 19 to Feb. 13 at the home in the 700 block of Russell Ave.
