Reward Offered for Info on Agg. Robbery at Buckeye Lake

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated robbery in Buckeye Lake.  The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports, on Jan. 18 around 11:30 pm two masked men forced their way into a home on the first block of Highland Ave. and demanded pills from an elderly woman. One of the suspects grabbed the victim by the arm and forced her down a hallway to her bedroom where the pills were being kept.  One of the suspects pointed a gun at the woman’s grandson who also lives in the home.  The suspects were said to be white males, one was approximately 6 feet tall the other shorter than that.
 
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.    
Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization.
