Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a robbery from a convenience store in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports, on Thursday, Nov. 24, around 8:40 pm, a black male entered the Duke Gas Station on North 21st Street and demanded money from an employee. The employee refused to give the man the money. The suspect then stole the cash drawer and fled the scene. The suspect was described as being five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 225 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, blue hat, with a blue bandana over his face. He was driving a silver or gray, four door car, possibly an older Dodge Challenger.
Anyone with information on this crime
