Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated arson in Hanover. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports around 3 am on Jan. 24, a resident awoke to the smell of smoke at his home in the 2700 block of E. High St. and was able to put out the small fire on an exterior wall and get his family out safely. There were no injuries reported. The fire did minor damage to the wall.
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony.
