Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a home burglary in Pataskala. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports on Jan. 18, someone broke into a home in the 6700 block of Wesleyan Church Rd., and stole several items including: guns, computers, jewelry, autographed sports memorabilia, and a bank debit card that was used at a Speedway store on Brice Rd. where a picture of a person of interest was taken by the store’s surveillance camera. The person of interest is described as a white male, with a beard, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, toboggan, and blue jeans. The person of interest at Speedway was driving an older gold car with gray paint.
Items stolen from the home include: one Remington pump 12 gauge shotgun, one Ruger bolt action .22 caliber rifle, one semi-automatic rifle, one compound bow, two necklaces with diamond pendants, one HP laptop computer, one Dell laptop computer, electronics, collectible coins, Ohio State autographed sports memorabilia, a wallet containing a debit card, and other items.
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
