Reward Offered for Info on Burglary on Donovan Dr.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a home burglary in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports on Tuesday, August 19 between 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. suspect(s) broke into a home in the 400 block of Donovan Dr. and stole a number of items including: an AR-15 assault rifle, a red Polaris ATV and various tools.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info on Stolen ATVs in Newark Area

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in recent thefts of ATV's in an area north of the Newark city limits. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports:
 
  • Suspect(s) entered a barn on the property in the area of 4300 Chestnut Hills Rd. sometime between Aug. 30 – Sept. 2, and stole a yellow 2003 Polaris Sportsman ATV and a deer trail camera.
  • Suspect(s) stole two ATVs from a property in the area of 6100 Marion Rd. One ATV that was stolen was a black Yamaha Wolverine, and the other was a red Polaris Scrambler.

Reward Offered for Break-Ins in West Newark Neighborhood

Licking County Crime Stoppers is encouraging homeowners to keep their valuables secure, and all doors and windows locked on their homes, garages, vehicles, and sheds.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in recent home burglaries and break-ins in a neighborhood by Moundbuilders Country Club in west Newark.

The Newark Division of Police reports the following crimes were reported overnight on Aug. 27 while the home owners were sleeping:
  • Suspect(s) entered a home in the 1100 block of West Main Street, and stole alcohol and miscellaneous items from the home.
  • Suspect(s) entered a home's attached garage on Moundview Ave. and stole a woman's bike.
  • Suspect(s) entered a home's attached garage on Parkview Dr. and stole a boy's bike. The suspect(s) later discarded the bike in a neighbors yard, and it was recovered by the owner the next day.
  • Suspect(s) entered a home's detached garage on N. 33rd St. and stole a man's mountain bike. The suspect(s) also went through both cars in the garage and attempted to steal a girl's bike and girl's purse, but left both behind in the yard.

Reward Offered for Info on Forry St. Burglary

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a break-in and theft in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports between July 19-20 suspect(s) broke into a garage in the 200 block of Forry Street and stole a number of items including: a Husqvarna chainsaw, a 12” circular saw, a grinder and a black wheelbarrow.
