Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Theft from Store

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a theft from a gas station in Pataskala.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports just after midnight on Sept. 27, a black male suspect entered the Speedway Gas Station near the intersection of Route 310 and I-70. While the store clerk was cleaning up a mess that the suspect had made in the store, the suspect went into the store room and stole 16 cartons of cigarettes valued at almost $900. The suspect then fled to a white truck that pulled up to pick him up. The truck had a cab and what looked like tool boxes on the side of the cab.

The Newark Police Department reports during the early morning hours of Sept. 9, someone entered the garage of a home in the 1200 block of Moundview Ave. and stole a Taurus “Judge” handgun out of a vehicle.

The Newark Police Department reports during the daytime on July 11, someone entered a home in the 300 block of W. National Dr. and stole the following: a handgun, a pocket watch, jewelry, a credit card, and other items.

The Newark Police Department reports between July 6-9, 2011, someone entered a garage of a home in the 1000 block of Weiant Ave. and stole an orange colored custom motorcycle valued at $25,000.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Theft at Business

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a theft at a Newark business. The Newark Police Department reports between July30-Aug. 1, someone broke into a fenced area at Dor Mar Heating and Cooling at 228 E. Main St. and stole 20 air conditioning units.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a black 1984 Ford van.
