Up to $1,000 Reward on Theft at Church

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a theft at a church in Jacksontown. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports that on March 20, someone broke into a vehicle at Jacksontown United Methodist Church, located at 9350 Jacksontown Rd., and stole a purse and bag out of the vehicle. The purse contained personal items including credit cards, and the bag contained items belonging to the church including checkbooks.

The Sheriff's Office reports one of the stolen credit cards was used at multiple Columbus area stores. The suspect seen on store surveillance video using the card is described as a white woman with short dark hair and traveling in a white utility van.

Up to $1,000 Reward for Info on Gun Thefts


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to arrests in three recent thefts, involving guns being stolen from Newark residences. The Newark Division of Police reports:

  • Suspects entered a house on Rosebud Ave. on April 4 and stole two guns.
  • A gun was reported stolen sometime between March 23 – April 1 from a home in the 300 block of S. 21st St.
  • A gun was reported stolen March 4 from an apartment in the 900 block of Derby Downs Rd.

Reward Offered for Bad Samaritan at Walmart



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of a purse at Walmart in Heath. The Heath Police Department reports on April 9, a victim left the store and accidentally left behind her purse in a shopping cart parked in store entrance way. Moments later, a woman entering the store, took the purse, and left the store.

The purse contained credit cards, cash, and other personal items.

Store security camera footage shows the suspect parking her vehicle, entering the store, picking up the purse, tucking it under her own purse, exiting the store, and handing the purse to someone in her dark colored Jeep Cherokee, parked in the parking lot and leaving. The suspect is described as a female with long dark blonde hair, fairly tall medium-build, and wearing a gray long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Robbery & Burglary

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to arrests in two crimes committed within 12 days at a Newark home. The Newark Division of Police reports on the night of April 10, two men with guns forced their way into an apartment in the 300 block of Wehrle Ave. where a man, woman, and small child resided. The suspects demanded money, and then assaulted the man before leaving. The woman and child were not touched.

The victims reported the suspects were both black males. Both victims were able to see both suspects' faces, and were able to provide specific details to police.

On March 30, the same residents reported their apartment was broken into and the following items were stolen: electronics, a handgun, a safe, and cash.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Apt. Burglary

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a burglary at a Newark residence. The Newark Division of Police reports on the night of Feb. 13, suspect(s) broke into an apartment in the 300 block of Executive Dr. and stole electronics items including two TV's, a laptop computer, and a video game system.
