Reward Offered for Info on theft of Dirt Bike in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of a dirt bike. The Newark Division of Police reports, between Sept. 9-12 suspect(s) stole a Yamaha PW 80cc dirt bike from a home located on the 100 block of S. 5th St. in Newark.


Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info on $250 Worth of Pennies Stolen from Storage

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of items from a storage unit. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports, between August 1 and August 13 suspect(s) broke into a storage unit at Nice and Secure Storage on Fallsburg Rd. and stole a number of items including buckets and crates containing over $250 worth of pennies.  The suspect(s) cashed in the pennies at a coin machine at Walmart on 21st St. in Newark.

Reward Offered for Info on Break-in at Subway in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a breaking and entering and theft at a local restaurant.  The Newark Division of Police reports, between Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 suspect(s) broke into the Subway on Country Club Drive, forced open the safe and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Reward Offered for Info on Stolen Items at Dawes Arboretum and Misuse of Credit Card

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of items from a vehicle parked at Dawes Arboretum. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports on Saturday, September 25 suspect(s) broke out the windows of an SUV and stole several items including a purse containing credit cards and an iPad. The suspect(s) has withdrawn $7,000 from the victim’s bank account.
