Reward Offered for Info on B & E at Midland Towing



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a breaking and entering at a business in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Feb. 25 and April 12 suspect(s) cut a hole in a fence at Midland Towing on Manning Street and stole multiple car batteries

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info on Gun Thefts in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in gun thefts in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Feb. 26 suspect(s) broke into a home in the 400 block of King Ave. and stole a Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum.  On March 3 suspect(s) stole a Ruger Blackhawk and a 12-gauge pump shotgun from a building in the first block of National Drive East.

Reward Offered for Info on Convenience Store Robberies

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the armed robbery of two convenience stores.  The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports, on Feb. 13 around 12:20 a.m. a white male entered the Duke Station on the 10000 block of Hazelton Etna Rd (Ohio 310), brandished a knife and demanded an employee open the cash drawers and safe.  He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Later that same day around 5:20 a.m. a man entered the Duke Station on N. 21st Street near Jefferson Street in Newark, pointed a gun at an employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Detectives believe the same man is responsible for both robberies.
