Reward Offered for Info on Home Burglaries in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in home burglaries in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, between Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, suspect(s) broke into homes on West Stevens St., Bowers Ave., South Pine St. and Pound St. and stole numerous items including: an Xbox, televisions, jewelry, a laptop and cash.

Anyone with information on these crimes is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.    

Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization. Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in two crimes.  The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports, between Dec. 23-26, suspect(s) broke into a Spangler Electric storage container at a job site at Trillium Farms on Croton Rd. in Johnstown and stole various tools and wire. 

The Newark Police Department reports overnight on Nov. 29, suspect(s) entered a home in the 600 block of Tall Oaks Court in Newark and stole a purse from the home. The purse contained multiple credit cards and personal belongings.

Reward Offered for Info on Whereabouts of Robert Allen

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of 45-year-old Robert Allen who’s wanted on an arrest warrant for Aggravated Burglary.

On Nov. 18, 2017 Newark Police were called to the 400 Block of Seroco Avenue in reference to a home invasion. Witnesses to the incident stated that Robert Allen entered the home with a pistol, and began threatening everyone inside, including a 12-year-old girl.

Anyone with information on Robert Allen’s whereabouts is urged to call the Newark Detective Bureau at 740-670-7215.
