Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in three break-ins and thefts from a business in Thornville.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports CTS Telecommunications, located at 10113 Jacksontown Rd., was broken into three times between Feb. 2 – 28 and each time the suspects stole large amounts of copper wire valued at several thousand dollars. The three thefts occurred on Feb. 2, Feb. 5-7, and Feb. 28.

The Heath Police Department reports on Feb. 5, someone broke into the Newark Heath Car Care at 419 S. 22^nd St. and did severe damaged to the building and two parked vehicles, and stole a truck from the business. The stolen truck is described as a 2000 Chevy black Z71    pick-up truck.

The Newark Division of Police reports between Jan. 17 – Feb. 2, someone stole galvanized steel, with an approximate value of $3,700, from a Robertson Construction worksite at 1855 W. Main St.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports on Jan. 6, someone broke into a home in the 10500 block of Purity Rd., and stole several items including: guns, TVs, jewelry, an electric guitar and amp.

Items stolen from the home include: a Benneli 12 gauge shotgun with case, a Ruger .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle, a strand of pearls, a gold tiger pendant, a  Sharp/Aquos 40 inch HD TV, a Samsung 32 inch HD TV, and an electric guitar with amp.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a home burglary in Newark. The Newark Police Department reports on Jan. 17, someone broke into an apartment in the 900 block of Grafton Rd., and stole several pieces of jewelry.

Items stolen from the home include: one gold chain with a diamond pendant, three rings, another gold chain, and a turquoise necklace.
