Reward Offered for Aggravated Robbery on S. 2nd St. in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated robbery in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports, around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22 a 50-year-old man was walking on S. 2^nd Street by the railroad bridge when two men came up from behind him, knocked him to the ground and kicked him in the head. The victim sustained a significant injury to the side of his face.  The suspects stole $8.  One suspect was described as a bi-racial male, 5 feet 10 inches tall with dark hair.  The other suspect was a white male, 6 feet tall.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest on shots fired into a Newark home.  The Newark Division of Police reports, around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 suspect(s) drove by a home on the 400 block of Woods Ave. and fired 4-8 shots into the home.  There were 4 people in the home at the time, but no injuries were reported.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a burglary in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Tuesday Oct. 6 two men entered an apartment on the 600 block of Glenbrook Drive and stole a revolver, a shotgun, a compound bow and an Xbox.  The suspects were described as a tall, black male dressed in all black with a yellow bandana and a white male, wearing shorts and a red hoodie.

Reward Offered for Info on Home Invasion on N. 24th St. in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated burglary in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, around 1:00 a.m. on Oct. 1 suspects entered a home on the 100 block of N. 24^th Street, and struck a 61-year-old man with a crowbar several times while he was sleeping.  The suspects stole two TV’s, cash, and a cell phone. The suspects were described as white males and approximately 6-foot tall.  One had blond hair.
