Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a vehicle break-in and theft in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports, during the overnight hours on Thursday, Oct. 19, suspect(s) broke into a work truck parked at the Cherry Valley Hotel and Ohio Event Center and stole GPS surveying equipment and tools. The stolen items are valued at more than $25,000.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an  arrest in the theft of firearms from a home in Granville. Granville Police reports, on Thursday,  Sept. 21, suspect(s) entered a garage in the 100 block of Glyn Tawel Drive and stole two rifles.

Reward Offered for Info Leading to Arrest in Thefts from Vehicles in Heath

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in thefts from vehicles in Heath. Heath Police reports, during the overnight hours on Sunday, Sept. 17 a white male stole a purse from a car parked in the 900 Block of Elm Court. Police believe the suspect went to several other vehicles in the area and is believed to have stolen more items. The suspect was wearing a gray shirt, blue and red shorts and black Nike tennis shoes.

Newark Police report there were numerous thefts from vehicles in August from homes near Horns Hill Road including Brooke Way, Dustin Court, Donovan Drive, and Renae Drive in the north end of Newark and also in downtown Newark in the parking lot at Doubletree Hotel located at 50 N. Second St. Items stolen from the vehicles include wallets, purses, firearms, tools, a backpack, and golf clubs. Licking County Crime Stoppers reminds people when exiting their vehicle to remove valuables and to lock the vehicle.
