Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in several thefts from homes in a north Newark neighborhood. The Newark Division of Police reports between Feb. 17-19, there were several garage and shed break-ins in the area of Pierson Boulevard and nearby streets.
ñ Between Feb. 17-18, suspect(s) entered a detached garage of a home in the 200 block of Bachmann Ave., and stole a power tool and electronic equipment.
ñ Between Feb. 17-18, suspect(s) entered a garage at a home in the 200 block of Bachmann Ave., and stole a generator.
ñ Between Feb. 17-18, suspect(s) entered a garage of a home in the 200 block of Bachmann Ave., but didn't take anything.
ñ Between Feb. 17-18, suspect(s) entered a shed at a home in the 200 block of Bachmann Ave., and stole a power tool.
ñ Between Feb. 17-18, suspect(s) entered a garage of a home in the 200 block of Bachmann Ave., but didn't take anything.
ñ Between Feb. 18-19, suspect(s) broke into a detached garage of a home in the 200 block of Pierson Blvd., and stole a generator.
ñ Between Feb. 18-19, suspect(s) broke into an attached garage of a home in the 300 block of Pierson Blvd., but didn't take anything.
ñ Between Feb. 18-19, suspect(s) entered an attached garage of a home in the 100 block of Newton Ave, and stole power tools.
Anyone with information on these crimes is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization. Reward money comes from private individuals, businesses, and foundations that see Crime Stoppers as an integral tool in the community’s fight against crime.
