Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for
anyone with information leading to the arrest of Ralph Eugene Wood. Wood, 53, is wanted on an arrest warrant for
rape in Licking County. His last known
address is 131 N. Fulton Avenue, Newark, OH.
Wood is a white male, 5 feet 7 inches, 170 lbs., with brown hair and blue
eyes. Police believe he may be driving a
2000 Ford Ranger pick-up truck, red in color, with Ohio registration number,
GDJ-1641. It is believed if not in
Newark, Wood could be in either the Columbus and/or Marysville, OH area(s).
Anyone with information on his whereabouts
is urged to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058
or Newark Police Detective Steve Vanoy at 740-670-7201. A special coding system protects the identity
of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
Crime Stoppers also takes calls
from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the
arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward
as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit
