Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to arrests in two arson fires. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A barn fire was reported around 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 9 at 3660 N. County Line Rd. in Croton. The fire resulted in serious damage to the barn as well as its content. The barn was used for storage for a tractor, other equipment, hay, and other goods. Loss is estimated at over $6,000. A Blue Ribbon Arson Award was posted on the premises.

• A barn fire was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 23 at 15218 Downing Rd. in Centerburg. The fire resulted in serious damage to the barn and it's content. The barn was used for storage of farm equipment and corn seed. Loss is estimated at over $1,000,000.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in robbery at a Newark pharmacy. The Newark Division of Police reports a male suspect entered CVS Pharmacy on 1370 W. Main St., around 3:35 am on March 5, robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of medication and fled the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 5'09” – 6'00” tall, 130 – 150 pounds, and wearing gray pants, a gray dress coat, dark shoes, black gloves, and a hat/toboggan. The suspect concealed his face with a dark cloth.

The Newark Division of Police reports between Dec. 30-31, someone stole a trailer parked in the lot at Patty's Dance Center at 215 Northtowne Ct. This is the second time in three years a trailer has been stolen at this location. The trailer contained several red stools. The trailer is described as a 2006 Haul cargo trailer with double axles and gray in color.

• Between Jan. 13-16, someone stole a large amount of industrial copper from a Gunther Mechanicals storage trailer parked at a worksite at McGuffey Elementary School on Green Wave Dr.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports two suspects broke into the Shell Gas Station, at 10583 Jacksontown Rd., in the early morning hours of Jan. 8. When officers arrived, the suspects fled on foot. The suspects are described as wearing black clothes and masks.
