Reward offered for info on Break-Ins in Heath and Newark


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in two break-ins in Heath and Newark.

The Heath Police Department reports overnight on April 20, a suspect broke into the Masonic Temple at 875 Irvingwick Dr. and stole a flat screen television and a sword.

The Newark Police Department reports overnight on May 23, a suspect broke into a house in the 200 block of Montgomery Ave. and stole two flat screen televisions.

Anyone with information on these crimes is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization. Reward offered on Garage Break-In


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a garage break-in in Newark. The Newark Police Department reports between May 21-26, someone broke into a detached garage in the 100 block of Maholm St. and stole several items including: a trailer, a concrete saw, and several tools.

Reward Offered for Most Wanted Man Schimpf

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of a sex offender who's wanted by authorities. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports Robert I Schimpf of Newark, has a warrant out for his arrest for failing to notify authorities about a change in his address.
Schimpf is described as a 36-year-old white male, five-feet-four-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair, and blue eyes.
