Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Thief in Heath


Suspect in Cell Phone Theft in Heath.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a theft from a store in Heath. The Heath Police Department reports on the afternoon of June 5, a white male suspect entered AT&T Mobility on Central Parkway and stole a Samsung Infuse cellphone valued at $550. A picture of the suspect was taken by the store’s surveillance camera. The suspect was wearing a Sponge Bob t-shirt and shorts.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Thefts from Church

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in thefts from a church in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports suspects broke into the Newark Church of Christ, in the 100 block of O’Bannon Ave., three times between March 10 and April 4. Stolen items include: an overhead projector, a wireless microphone system, a sound board, a video game system, mini refrigerators, and other items.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Theft of Credit Card

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a stolen wallet in Heath. The Heath Police Department reports a woman had her wallet, including credit cards, stolen while she was shopping at Carnival Foods on Central Parkway on June 6.

The victim's credit card was used within 45 minutes of the theft at the Best Buy store on Hebron Rd. in Heath. The suspect used the stolen credit card to purchase an Xbox and Visa gift cards. The suspect is described as a black female with short dark hair.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Thefts from Vehicles

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in thefts in Heath. The Heath Police Department reports overnight on June 8, suspects stole items out of two parked vehicles in the 1200 block of Nadine Dr. Stolen items include: a purse with an Ohio Direction card and cash, plus a wallet with a Kirkersville Police Department badge and cash.

Soon after the thefts occurred, the suspects went to Walmart and used the Ohio Direction card and cash to purchase items. A store surveillance camera took a picture of the suspects, a white man and a black woman, as they entered the store with an infant child. They were in a car that appeared to be silver in color.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Vandalism

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a series of crimes of vandalism taking place in a neighborhood in Newark’s east end.

The Newark Division of Police reports during nighttime hours of May 25-27, suspects used a BB gun to shoot out windows of more than nine vehicles parked on N. Buena Vista St., Everett Ave., Oakwood Ave., Dewey Ave., and Allston Ave.
