Reward Offered for Info on Purse Theft on Merchant Street and Misuse of Credit Cards

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft and unauthorized use of a credit card. The Newark Division of Police reports between Sept. 25-26, suspect(s) entered an attached garage at a home located in the 200 block of Merchant Street and stole a purse out of vehicle.  The purse contained a number of credit cards and other items.  Surveillance video shows the suspects using the credit cards at an ATM and a convenience store. The suspects are two white males. 
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization. Reward Offered for Info on Burglary at Crawford Auto Body

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a burglary at a business in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports between Sept. 8-Sept. 10 suspect(s) broke into Crawford Auto Body located at 59W. Main St. and stole a number of items including: an Electronic Laun diagnostic code reader, air drills and a Gravity spray gun.

Reward Offered for Information on Eddie Corbette III

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of Eddie Corbette III. The Newark Division of Police has an active arrest warrant for Corbette in connection with an August burglary at a home in the first block of Linden Ave.  Also, Licking County Adult Court Services has issued a warrant for Corbette for a parole violation.  Corbette’s last known address is 23 W. Railroad St. in Newark.  Corbette is a white male, approximately 6’3, 190 lbs.
