Reward Offered on Info on Shots Fired into Woods Ave. Home



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest on shots fired into a Newark home.  The Newark Division of Police reports, around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 suspect(s) drove by a home on the 400 block of Woods Ave. and fired 4-8 shots into the home.  There were 4 people in the home at the time, but no injuries were reported.  


Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info on Burglary on Glenbrook Dr.



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a burglary in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Tuesday Oct. 6 two men entered an apartment on the 600 block of Glenbrook Drive and stole a revolver, a shotgun, a compound bow and an Xbox.  The suspects were described as a tall, black male dressed in all black with a yellow bandana and a white male, wearing shorts and a red hoodie.

Reward Offered for Info on Aggravated Burglary on Leonard Ave. in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated burglary in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, between Oct. 20-21 suspect(s) entered a home on the 100 block of Leonard Avenue while the occupants were sleeping and stole a number of items including credit and debit cards, a 42 inch plasma TV and alcohol.

Reward Offered for Info on Home Invasion on N. 24th St. in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated burglary in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, around 1:00 a.m. on Oct. 1 suspects entered a home on the 100 block of N. 24th Street, and struck a 61-year-old man with a crowbar several times while he was sleeping.  The suspects stole two TV’s, cash, and a cell phone. The suspects were described as white males and approximately 6-foot tall.  One had blond hair.
