Reward Offered for Info on Attempted Robbery in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an attempted robbery in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports on the morning of May 24, a male suspect attempted to steal a bike and a woman’s purse in the backyard of a home in the 200 block of W. Locust St.

The victim saw the suspect attempting to steal the bike and confronted the suspect. The suspect then grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground and tried to steal the victim’s purse before he fled the area without the bike or purse. The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, 6-feet-tall, 180 pounds, with blonde or strawberry colored hair.

Reward Offered for Most Wanted: Angel Baer, Cody Kurtz, and Nolan Worden

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of three individuals.  The Licking County Adult Court Services Department is actively searching for: Angel Baer, Cody Kurtz, and Nolan Worden.  Baer, 30, is wanted on drug and breaking and entering charges.  Kurtz, 26, and Worden, 36, are wanted on theft and fraud charges.

Reward Offered for Info on Car Batteries Stolen from Russ's Auto Sales



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of multiple car batteries from a business in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, between November 2015 and April 2016 14 batteries were stolen out of vehicles at Russ’s Auto Sales on Union Street.
