Reward Offered for Info on Checks Theft and Use in LC



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft and use of stolen checks. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports on Dec. 19 and Dec. 21 two stolen checks totaling $900.00 were cashed at a local bank.  The checks were stolen from a home on County Line Rd. in Hopewell.  


Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info on Aggravated Robbery of Girl in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated robbery in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Dec. 20, around 6:30 p.m. a woman was riding her bike on S. 3rd Street near E. Harrison St. when she was approached by four juveniles.  One of the suspects pointed a gun at the woman while a second suspect punched her in the stomach, and then stole the bicycle.  The suspects were described as white and Hispanic males, between the ages of 10-17 years old, and wearing dark hoodies.

Reward Offered for Info on Marcus Greene

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of Marcus Greene.  The Licking County Adult Court Services Department reports, Greene, 29, is wanted on aggravated burglary and robbery charges with firearm specifications.  Greene is a black male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 155 lbs., with black hair and hazel eyes.

Reward Offered for Info on Home Invasion in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a home invasion in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Monday, Jan. 4 around 8:20 p.m. three black males forced their way into a home in the 200 block of Isabella Road and one of the suspects shot a man in the leg.  The suspects fled the scene in a large, green sedan.
