Reward Offered for Info on Purse Snatcher

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a purse snatching in a store parking lot in Newark.  The Newark Police Department reports, on Dec. 18, 2014 shortly after 8:30 p.m. a woman was in the parking lot of the WalMart on N. 21st Street when a man in a hoodie grabbed her purse out of a grocery cart. The man jumped into a white or silver Tracker which then headed southbound on N. 21st Street.
 
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info on Businesses Damaged in Heath

The Heath Police Department reports, on Dec. 31, 2014 a little before 11:00 p.m. suspect(s) damaged windows at the Hobby Lobby, the Sprint store, AutoZone, Dollar Tree and Tire Discounters.

Reward Offered on Aggravated Burglary on N. 12th St. in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated burglary at a home in Newark. The Newark Police Department reports on Nov. 22, 2014 around 10:30 p.m. three suspects entered a home in the first block of N. 12th St. and threatened the residents with guns.  The suspects fled after threatening the occupants.

Reward Offered on Info for Generator Battery Thefts in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in multiple battery thefts from businesses in Newark. The Newark Police Department reports between Aug-Nov. 2014 more than 70 vehicle and generator batteries have been stolen from a number of businesses including Layton Services on E. Main St., Russ’s Auto Sales on Union St., and Weekley Electric on Mt. Vernon Rd.
