Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Circle K Robbery

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a robbery in Newark. The Newark Police Department reports on March 25, around 7:40 p.m., a lone white, male suspect entered the Circle K Convenient Store, located at 369 W. Church Street, and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect was described as approximately 5-5 to 5-9 inches in height, and having a "stocky" build, possibly in his twenties.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports between Jan. 18 – 20, someone broke into the garage located on personal property in the 10,200 block of Morse Rd. Several professional tools and equipment were stolen.

The Newark Division of Police reports sometime between Jan. 20 – Feb. 3, someone stole a diamond engagement ring and two ring bands from a home in the 200 block of Park Trails Dr.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Theft at Business

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an a breaking and entering and theft at a Newark business. The Newark Division of Police reports between Feb. 29 – March 1, suspect(s) broke into a fenced lot at Acorn Storage, at 1061 N. 21st St., and then broke into multiple Recreational Vehicles parked in the lot, and stole flat screen TV's and other items out of the RV's.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Arson Fires

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to arrests in two arson fires. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A barn fire was reported around 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 9 at 3660 N. County Line Rd. in Croton. The fire resulted in serious damage to the barn as well as its content. The barn was used for storage for a tractor, other equipment, hay, and other goods. Loss is estimated at over $6,000. A Blue Ribbon Arson Award was posted on the premises.

  • A barn fire was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 23 at 15218 Downing Rd. in Centerburg. The fire resulted in serious damage to the barn and it's content. The barn was used for storage of farm equipment and corn seed. Loss is estimated at over $1,000,000.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on CVS Robbery

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in robbery at a Newark pharmacy. The Newark Division of Police reports a male suspect entered CVS Pharmacy on 1370 W. Main St., around 3:35 am on March 5, robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of medication and fled the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 5'09” – 6'00” tall, 130 – 150 pounds, and wearing gray pants, a gray dress coat, dark shoes, black gloves, and a hat/toboggan. The suspect concealed his face with a dark cloth.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Trailer Theft

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a trailer theft from a parking lot at a Newark business. The Newark Division of Police reports between Dec. 30-31, someone stole a trailer parked in the lot at Patty's Dance Center at 215 Northtowne Ct. This is the second time in three years a trailer has been stolen at this location. The trailer contained several red stools. The trailer is described as a 2006 Haul cargo trailer with double axles and gray in color.

Up to a $1,000 Reward Offered for Info on Subway Break-In & Theft

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a break-in and theft at a Newark restaurant. The Newark Division of Police reports, overnight on Dec. 23, someone broke into Subway at 335 Mt. Vernon Rd, and removed the safe with cash in it, and also stole the store's security cameras and monitors.
