Cash reward offered for info on guns stolen from cars


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in guns being stolen out of vehicles parked in Newark's north end. The Newark Division of Police reports:

Between July 15-29, someone stole a gun out of a parked car on W. Channel St.

Between July 22-25. someone stole a gun and gun accessories out of a parked car on E. Channel St.

On July 30, someone stole a gun, electronics, and cash out of a parked car on Stare Rd.

Reward Offered for Thefts of Diesel Fuel in St. Louisville


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to large amounts of diesel fuel being stolen from businesses in St. Louisville. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports:

  • On Aug. 10, between 11 p.m. and midnight, suspects stole a large amount of diesel fuel from fuel tanks at Kokosing Materials and Olen Corporation, both located at 9134 Mt. Vernon Rd. Photos from a security camera show two suspects stealing the fuel and driving a truck that looked like a Chevy truck, dark in color, with chrome across the tailgate.

  • On Aug. 1, between midnight and seven in the morning, suspect(s) stole hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel from a fuel tank at Shelly Materials at 6824 Mt. Vernon Rd.

Reward Offered for Info on Jae's Towing Break-In

The Heath Police Department reports in the early morning hours of July 18, suspect(s) broke into the business office at Jae's Towing, located at 1697 Hebron Rd., and stole cash.

Reward Offered for Information on Theft Suspect

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a theft from a customer at a Newark pharmacy. The Newark Police Department reports around 11:15 a.m. on July 11, a female customer walked out of CVS at 379 E. Main St. and entered her vehicle. A male suspect then approached her vehicle, opened her vehicle door, stole her prescription medicine and then fled. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-40-years old, 5-10 to 6-feet tall, 220-260 pounds, with brown hair.

Reward Offered on Home Burglary


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to a burglary at a home in Licking County. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports on July 11, someone entered a home in the 12000 block of Palmer Rd. in Reynoldsburg, and stole the following: seven guns, jewelry, electronics, and other items.

A neighbor's surveillance video camera shows what appears to be a red Dodge Intrepid, four-door, pulling into and exiting the victim's driveway on the day the crime occurred.

Reward Offered for Info on Assault


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an assault in Newark's north end that left a man hospitalized for his injuries from the attack. The Newark Police Department reports on the night of May 14, a 59-year-old man was robbed of his money and assaulted by three men in the area of Sherwood Downs and Ditmoor Stroll, as he was walking home from a store on N. 21st St.

The three suspects are all described as white males, in their early twenties, taller than five-foot-nine, and wearing hooded sweatshirts. Two of them had sideburns and goatees.
