Reward Offered for Info Leading to Arrest(s) in Carjacking in Newark


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a carjacking in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, on Saturday June 22, a man was driving on South Williams Street near Grant Street when he stopped to check his vehicle.  The victim told officers he was attacked by two men who were wearing black ski masks. The car was later involved in a hit-skip crash and witnesses reported seeing three men run from the car.  The suspects were described as white males. One was heavy set and had a black ponytail.  The other two had blonde hair.
