Cash Reward Offered for Info on Theft from Preferred Building Supply


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of equipment from a Newark business. The Newark Police Department reports between Sept. 23-24, suspect(s) stole a flatbed trailer from Preferred Building Supply in the 200 block of Montgomery Ave. in Newark's east end.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 1-888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

The Newark Police Department reports between Sept. 24-25, suspect(s) stole two Caterpillar Mini Excavators from Layton Inc. at the company's job site in the area of O'Bannon Ave. and McKinley Ave. in Newark's east end.

Reward offered for information on stolen credit card used at four area stores

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the use of stolen credit card information. The Heath Police Department reports a Newark woman's credit card information was stolen, and used to purchase over $900 worth of items on Aug. 28 at Hibbett Sports and Finish Line at Indian Mound Mall, Dollar General in Heath, and the Newark Walmart.

Store surveillance cameras at Hibbett Sports and Dollar General took pictures of the suspects, who are described as two thin black males.

Reward Offered for Info on Man Who Used Stolen Debit Card

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a stolen debit card being used to purchase items in Newark. The Newark Police Department reports a male suspect used a debit card, that was stolen from a Newark woman, to make purchases on Aug. 10 at the Duke and Duchess on E. Main St. and Speedway on E. Main St.

Speedway store surveillance cameras took pictures of the suspect who is described as a black male, approximately 30-40 years old, between five-feet and six-feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He was driving a gold colored car, and wearing a shirt that read “Risk, Reward” on the back.

Reward Offered for Info on Verizon Break-In


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a business break-in in Pataskala. The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports around 2 a.m. on Aug. 21, a suspect broke into the Verizon Wireless store at 9311 Columbia Rd. Store surveillance video shows the suspect is described as male, approximately 6'-2” tall with a larger build, and wearing dark sweatpants with a white stripe on the legs, a dark hoodie that was covering his face, white shoes, and gloves.
