Reward Offered for Info on Evans St. Garage Break-In


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a breaking and entering at a home's detached garage in the 600 block of Evans St. in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports the break-in occurred between March 2-3. Suspect(s) stole several power tools from the garage.

Reward Offered for Info on Assaults on Homeless Man in Newark


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in two assaults on a homeless man in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports around 9 p.m. on the nights of April 8 and April 16, two suspects physically assaulted a 47-year-old man living under the Route 16 overpass near the intersection of N. First St. and E. Locust St. On the second assault, the suspects severely beat the victim.

Reward Offered for Info on Guns Stolen from Buckeye Outdoors


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft of several guns from a store in Hebron. The Hebron Police Department reports around 10:30 p.m. on March 20, a male suspect broke into Buckeye Outdoors, located at 150 Arrowhead Blvd., and stole several firearms and then fled the area.

Reward Offered for Information to Locate Hansen, Smith, and Hansen Child

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for anyone with information leading to authorities locating a mother, her boyfriend, and her child. The Newark Police Department is attempting to locate 24-year-old, Amanda M. Hansen, and her 27-year-old boyfriend, Matthew B. Smith. Hansen currently has a probation holder warrant out of Licking County Municipal Court, and Smith also has an active arrest warrant for failure to appear for an arraignment on the charge of Domestic Violence. Also believed to be in their presence is Amanda’s five year-old daughter, Laura Hansen.
As recent as last week, these subjects resided at a Weston Rd. apartment in Newark. Amanda is a white female, with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5-2 tall and weighing about 115 pounds. Matthew is a white male with black hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 200 pounds and 5-9 in height. Laura has red hair and brown eyes and weighs approximately 40 pounds, and about 3-6 tall.

Matthew and Amanda were last reported seen in Heath near the Heathwood Village Apartments. They are also known to frequent area motels in and around Newark and Heath. Authorities not only want to locate Hansen and Smith, but also want to check on the welfare of Laura.
