Reward Offered for Info Leading to Arrest in Gas Station Robbery

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a gas station robbery in Newark. The Newark Division of Police reports at 03:48 a.m. on May 29th, a robbery occurred at the Duchess convenience store in the 200 block of Union St. The suspect entered the store carrying a handgun; he placed the gun against the store clerk’s head and demanded her to open the cash register. He got an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the area.


The suspect is described as a black male, age 20-35, five-foot-10 to six-foot-3 inches tall, 150-190 pounds, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray and red sweatpants, white or light blue bandana, and very dark eyes.



Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.

Reward Offered for Info Leading to Arrest in Break-Ins and Assault in East Newark


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in two burglaries and an attempted robbery in the east end of Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, between April 14-30, suspect(s) broke into homes on the 100 block of Rose Hill Ave. and the first block of Elcar Ave. and stole numerous items.  On May 1, a black male attempted to steal money from an elderly woman at a home on the 400 block of Ridge Ave.

Reward Offered for Info on Home Burglary on Glenbrook Dr. in Newark


Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a home burglary in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, during the overnight hours on April 30, suspect(s) broke into a home on the 500 block of Glenbrook Drive and stole multiple items including three guns.  The stolen items were valued at more than $2,800.00
