Up to $1,000 Reward on Business Break-In

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a break-in at a jewelry store in Heath. The Heath Police Department reports on Sept. 28 around 8:30 p.m., someone rammed a vehicle into the front of Haynes Jewelry, located at 409 S. 22nd St., breaking store windows and damaging the door frame. Nothing was taken from the business.

A witness described the vehicle as an early 1990’s model red pick-up truck, possibly a Chevy, with white fence stakes on the sides of the truck bed. The witness said the vehicle left the parking lot shortly after the incident occurred.

Up to $1,000 Reward on Home Burglary

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in an aggravated burglary at a Newark home. The Newark Division of Police reports between 3:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Oct. 4, someone entered a home on First St. while the residents were sleeping and stole several items including electronics, medications, cash, credit cards, and other items.

Up to $1,000 Reward for Subway Attempted Robbery

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone that has information leading to an arrest in an attempted robbery at a Heath restaurant. The Heath Police Department reports around 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 9, a male suspect attempted to rob Subway located at 1134 Hebron Rd. The suspect left Subway without any cash after seeing another customer pull into the parking lot. Witnesses say the suspect fled on foot with another suspect, who was in the parking lot, towards the back of the restaurant behind houses on Clark Ave.

The suspect, who was in the restaurant, is described as a thin white male, about five-foot-four inches tall with red hair and wearing all black with a black baseball cap and a black bandana covering his face. The second suspect is described as wearing dark clothing.

Up to $1,000 Reward for Theft at Business

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone that has information leading to an arrest involving theft at a Newark business. The Newark Division of Police reports overnight on Sept. 16, someone stole several tools from Freedom Recycling at 2097 Mt. Vernon Rd. Items stolen had a total value of over $2,000, and include: chainsaws, wrenches, hammers, drills, and other tools.

Up to $1,000 Reward on Tools Theft

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone that has information leading to an arrest involving thousands of dollars worth of tools and supplies being stolen from a Newark worksite. The Newark Division of Police reports between Sept. 2-7, someone broke into a tool trailer belonging to Deer Creek Excavating, of Bellville, that was parked at a worksite at O’Bannon Ave. and McKinley Ave.  Items stolen include: an air compressor, saws, rolls of copper wire, and other construction tools.

Up to $1,000 Reward for Most Wanted Shooter

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of 27-year-old Gregory McCualsky, who has been charged with attempted murder after Newark Police say he shot his sister-in-law in the parking lot of Newark’s Walmart early Tuesday. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

McCualsky’s, last known address 447 W. National Dr., Heath, reportedly fired at sister-in-law Nitaleen McCualsky from a dark colored sedan at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Nitaleen McCualsky, 21, of Granville, sustained a single gunshot wound above the right hip while in the passenger's seat of a silver-blue Honda Odyssey in the parking lot of Walmart, 1315 N. 21st St. The man in the driver's seat was not injured. She was treated for her injuries, which police say were not life threatening.
Police recovered the firearm at a different location and are reviewing Walmart security cameras.
Gregory McCualsky is described as a white male, six-feet tall, weighing 190 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a history of criminal behavior, including a pending felony case for aggravated possession of methamphetamine.

Up to $1,000 Reward on Carryout Break-In

The Newark Police Department reports between 4-7 a.m. on Oct. 14, someone broke into the South End Carryout at 128 S. Second St and stole the following items: cash, wine, and Marlboro cigarettes.
