The Newark Division of Police reports around 10:30 am on March 19, a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Wilwood Ave. A female suspect then used a stolen credit card from the purse to buy items at Walmart. A store security camera took pictures of the suspect.

The Heath Police Department reports around noon on March 28, a female shopper left her purse in a shopping cart near the store's front door and exited the store. Video from a store security camera shows a female suspect then entering the store, picking up the purse and exiting the store with the purse and its contents which included several hundred dollars in cash, credit cards, and personal information. The Newark Division of Police reports between Feb. 4-17, suspect(s) broke into a semi trailer parked at Murphy Brothers Warehouse at 550 Wehrle Ave. and stole two large toolboxes filled with tools. The toolboxes are described as a Snap-On Harley Davidson Fatboy anniversary box, and a MAC Gator National box. Both have an estimated value of $50,000 each.
