Suspect using debit card at Speedway.
Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft and misuse of a debit card. The Heath Police Department reports on the afternoon of March 30, someone stole a debit card and cash out of a car parked at Frisch’s Restaurant on Hebron Rd. The suspect spent $166 on the debit card at four locations in Newark including: Speedway on E. Main St., CVS on E. Main St., KFC on Cedar St., and Duke and Duchess on N. 21st St.

A picture of the suspect was taken by a store surveillance camera at Speedway. The suspect is described as a black female wearing a black coat, white sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Crime Stoppers also takes calls from persons with information about any felony. Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization. Reward money comes from private individuals, businesses, and foundations that see Crime Stoppers as an integral tool in the community’s fight against crime. Tax-deductible donations can be sent to: Licking County Crime Stoppers, Inc., P.O. Box 304, Newark, OH 43058-0304.
