Reward Offered for Info Leading to Arrest in a Theft at Jimmy John's in Newark



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a theft from a restaurant in Newark.  The Newark Division of Police reports, during the early morning hours on Monday, July 22 a man broke into Jimmy John’s on the 1500 block of West Church Street and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a blue Reebok t-shirt and blue jeans.  He has a small tattoo on his left hand above the thumb.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
