Reward Offered for Info Leading to Arrests in Stolen Purses and Misuse of Credit Cards and Checks



Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the theft and use of checks and credit cards.  The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports, on Saturday, May 18 suspect(s) broke into three cars at the Licking Valley ballfields on the 2600 block of West High Street in Hanover and one car on the 17000 block of Marne Road and stole purses containing credit cards, and checkbooks.  A female, described as a person of interest, cashed checks at a local bank.
   
Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
